Lillian Asquith was born in Sarajevo, and came to Canada in 1964.  She studied watercolour with Tom Lynch, Frank Webb, Margaret Roseman, and Brian Ateo. Now living in Elliot Lake, she  teaches watercolour, oils, pastel, and acrylics. Her work has gained wide recognition- paintings may be found in public, and private collections in Canada, the US, and Europe. A Bronze Signature member of the prestigious Toronto Watercolour Society, Lillian is a popular instructor who has conducted workshops and classes throughout Ontario.
