Robert was born in the town of Grimsby, Ontario and presently resides in Whitefish,Ontario. He is largely a self-taught artist who works almost exclusively in acrylic on board, but also dabbles in pen and ink and other art forms. He has painted all his life and his work can be found in many galleries and private collections.

Robert’s love of antiques and the outdoors can be readily seen in his work, but it is by no means limited to these subjects. Vanishing ways of life provide a great source of inspiration.

He is an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists and currently sits on the Board of Directors. He is a member of the Northern Artists Gallery and the Sudbury Art Club.

Robert can be found working at his studio on the shores of Fairbank Lake.
