Gwendlyn Goulet

As a self-taught artisan in jewellery, I enjoy both the challenge of learning new techniques and honing the skills I have already acquired. Techniques range from wire wrapping and wire weaving to metal-smithing, fold-form, recycling/upcycling, metal clay and enamelling. The fun of shaping and forming the metals are what I enjoy, using these techniques to produce unique and unusual designs in metal.

In addition, other areas of interest include painting, drawing, photography and fibre arts. Learning sewing, knitting and crocheting from my mother, starting with hand sewing before the age of five, I have kept up these skills and am at present learning weaving.
