Lillian Asquith
Lillian Asquith was born in Sarajevo and came to Canada in 1964. During the past thirty years, she has studied watercolour painting with such well-known artists as Tom Lynch, Frank Webb, Stephen Quiller, Margaret Roseman, Pauline Holancin, and Brian Atyeo, as well as many other U.S. and Canadian artists.
Living in Elliot Lake now, Lillian teaches Watercolours, Oils, Pastels and Acrylics with the E.L. Arts Club. Known for her vibrant and dramatic use of colours, her work has gained wide recognition and her paintings may be found in many public and private collections in Canada, U.S. and Europe. A Bronze Signature Member of the prestigious Toronto Watercolour Society, Lillian is a popular instructor who has conducted workshops and classes throughout 0ntario.
