Welcome to the new home of the Elliot Lake Arts Club!
Building on our mission ¨to encourage active participation in and an appreciation of, the fine arts and crafts in Elliot Lake and vicinity”, the club supports artists in a wide variety of disciplines. Our plans for the future include expanding upon our traditional in-person learning and venturing into the wide world of digital learning to bring the knowledge and creativity of our members to a wider audience.
The Elliot Lake Arts Club is presently closed but in the New Year will be moving to the newly renovated Reel2Reel/Lake Theatre downtown at #14 Elizabeth Walk.
We will have the same 6 active studios for Painting, Printing, Pottery, Weaving, Stained Glass and Copper Enamelling. Our monthly meetings will continue to be the last Tuesday of the month at 1:00 pm, August to November and January to May with 3 potluck meetings in August, November and May. The studios are still open during the summer months, just no meetings.
Our new open hours will be advertised as soon as we are in our new home. Our membership will still be $100. per year, allowing members to work in any or all of our 6 studios. Workshops will be run throughout the year as needed or requested.
It will take a bit of time to get the studios set up in their new locations. But we will be advertising our progress on this website.
