Selection Process
Applicants must submit 3 to 5 separate pieces of work per media category (2 media categories maximum, and each artist must display in the same category/categories) as high-quality digital images. Images should be of sufficiently high quality (800 x 600 pixels min.) that will allow the Selection Committee to soundly assess and review the work. All work submitted for jurying must have been produced in the last year, and should best represent the work to be exhibited. The selection committee reserves the right to request more photos from any individual artist if necessary.
Note: Applicants may submit up to two (2) images of each piece submitted. We recommend multiple views be submitted for 3-dimensional work (e.g., sculpture, pottery, etc.).
Each entry must be clearly identified as belonging to a specific media category listed below. (To view the media category descriptions click here).
Note: The Arts on the Trail Committee assigns selected exhibitors to halls based on hall capacity and media. Exhibitors cannot be placed in a specific hall location by request.
Registration Checklist: All of the following items MUST be included with your registration.
NOTE:
Groups of artists or artisans of the same media (ex. wood, fibre, may register together but each member must submit individual works for the selection process. The maximum number of individuals per group is three (3). Please note that group exhibitors will collectively have no more space than an individual artist and that any advertising will only include the group name.
If you are having difficulty with getting the application to submit, please try just filling out the application, but do not upload the pictures. Please just send the photos by email after you submit the application to artsonthetrail@outlook.com
