Fibre Camp - Summer Camp for Adults

August 10 – 14, 2026

$490.00

Interested in a Memorable Vacation?

Last year a group of campers met at a local park overlooking beautiful Elliot Lake and spent a week learning how to turn sheep fleece into yarn. We cleaned, carded and spun the fleece, dyed it, felted it and started our shawl. We had a blast.

This year we’re going to shake it up a bit and we’ve added workshops on Natural Dying along with our popular dying workshop with Lynn Shelridge.

So, bring your sunhat and suntan location and drop up to Elliot Lake for a week of fun and community. We’re looking forward to welcoming you again to our beautiful community.

Sheep to Shawl camp fees include all material (fleece/dyes/soaps), equipment (carders/spinning wheels/needles) and most extra activities.

Camp Fees also include a daily boxed lunch, plus snacks and beverages throughout each day. A lunch menu will be sent closer to the date of the Camp. Dietary needs will be accommodated if camper requests prior to the start of camp.

Campers will be responsible for accommodations. Hotel rooms in Elliot Lake are limited- it’s best to book early. We suggest you also consider looking at AirB & B’s or Camping in the area. The camp also has a very limited number of billet spaces available.

Camp organizers will be available to help and support campers that need help with accommodation etc. Text or call 705-849-7906 for further information.
